Experience
Marie works with Summit as a consultant focusing on commercial law, insurance/reinsurance, and intellectual property.
She qualified as a solicitor in 1990. Marie has worked as a commercial litigator and in-house lawyer, giving her in-depth commercial experience. She has also been an Approved Person for an FCA-regulated business.
Marie obtained her law degree at the University of Hull.
Something you didn’t know.
For 10 years, Marie and her brother ran their late parents’ farm in Somerset, raising beef cattle and horses.
She did this alongside being a full-time lawyer. “It’s proof that I can get a lot done,” she laughs. “Also that I understand what it’s like to manage a small business.”
